My first television appearance

Published by steveracer at 12:16 pm under Hollywood Edit This

Yes, true believers, it is going to happen. Okay, it’s probably going to happen. Well, I really hope it will happen. My television debut. And of course, it is going to be on a reality show. Aren’t you excited?

Tuesday I shot for The Learning Channel’s new series, “The New Dating Story.” Some lucky, lucky lady got to go out with me on a date! TLC sent a limousine to pick me up and bring me to the set, how classy! So, here is a teaser about what happened.

The show is about, well, real life dating. When I arrived at our location, they kept us hidden from each other so it would be a true blind date. I didn’t even know her name until she called me that morning and I told her about what we were doing. Our date was going to a sushi place where we learned to make our own sushi! Then we got to eat it! I’m not going to say too much else about that because you will have to watch the show.

Did we get along? Was the date a disaster? Did I end up stabbing someone with a sushi knife?

I will tell you that I actually sang acapella on the show, and I talked about some very personal things right there on camera! Finally, the date was over and I got to ride home in a limousine again. I was talking to my friend on my cell on the way home, and she remarked how strange it was that I was now riding home in a limousine, but tomorrow I was going to have to dig through my spare change for gas money to get to work. That, my friends, pretty much epitomizes the life of an actor here in Los Angeles.

Don’t worry — I will let you know when the show is coming on. The New Dating Story is going to start airing soon on TLC, so check it out and get a feel for how it works. The one I am on is later in the season. When I get dates I will post them.

Picture of the Day

Low Fuel

My gas gauge, as of late. Low Fuel? No, really? I like how the needle is below the actual red mark.

That low gas line is scary.
